The International Institute of Communications: UK Chapter Event
8 July 2008, hosted by Squire, Sanders & Dempsey
25 Old Broad Street, London EC2N 1HQ
5.30pm for a 6.00pm start
Overview
Functional separation is now an accepted concept in the UK and elsewhere; but is it really an unqualified success and could it be adopted throughout Europe and beyond? Who has benefited most and what are the opportunities it brings; or is it just a panacea? Are there other options?

Chaired by Martin Cave of the Warwick Business School, with Michael Wigley, a senior legal adviser from New Zealand, Peter McCarthy-Ward of BT and Tom Kiedrowski of Ofcom, together with other experts, the meeting will provide a frank exchange of views between participants and vigorous debate for all. The Chatham House rule will apply.
