Following 9-11, Enron's collapse, and a growing increase in corporate fraud litigation, records management is now a 'board level' priority.  This session will examine the importance of developing a stringent record management and archiving policy while overviewing the recent legislation that governs information management practices. 

• Developing an appropriate record management policy for structured and unstructured information
• What information must be retained, in what format, and for how long?
• Understanding the implications of the Electronic Transactions Act
